Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
- 4 years of experience in SQL and Data Visualization (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar technologies).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with analytical methodologies, including regression, classification, prediction, machine learning, and neural networks.
- Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
- Experience in statistical tools such as R, Python, or similar software.
- Ability to generate insights from data sets and present them to clients with takeaways.
- Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate compelling data narratives to audiences.
- Passion for developing and analyzing data sets and translating them into insights that drive business decisions at all levels of the organization.
About the job
As a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst for the Exchange Platforms business, you will be responsible for developing insights that guide business leaders to make decisions. You will develop reporting that helps the global sales team quantify the impact of their actions at all levels. You will maintain and grow media sales pipeline reporting activities, working with Salesforce and business growth datasets across the various cuts of the pipeline (e.g., region, agency, advertiser, etc.). You will partner with other BI Analysts to develop data infrastructure and dashboards to drive automated and scaled global reporting on the trends driving the business forward.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Analyze data, partner with business leadership to identify new opportunities, and support decision making by providing insights and analysis to business leadership.
- Develop detailed sales pipeline reporting for executive, manager, and individual contributor audiences using data.
- Build models and forecasts combining data inputs from databases to estimate the business growth uplift associated with business actions.
- Partner with the tools team maintaining to prioritize new additions to the data logged for analysis.
- Develop and maintain accurate, durable, and scalable data pipelines, dashboards and infrastructure to empower exchange stakeholders to self-serve answers questions.
