Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.
  • 5 years of experience in a leadership role with/without direct reports.
  • Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information security clearance with polygraph.
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time internationally.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications.
  • 5 years of experience with supervisory roles.
  • Experience working with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud and broader enterprise technology transformation space.
  • Experience collaborating with and building technical solutions in partnership with national security customers, consultants, and Security Engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will use customer-facing skills and technical acumen to operate as the program-level delivery expert. You will interface with customers alongside internal deliver teams in order to craft and deliver a services strategy that aligns Mandiant Security expertise and Google technology with customer missions.

This position requires that the applicant selected be eligible to obtain, or currently possess and maintain an active "TS/SCI with a Polygraph". The position further requires the applicant will obtain a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform GPS work. Failure to maintain (or obtain, if applicable) the appropriate U.S. Government clearance or customer screening requirements that results in the employee unable to perform the requirements of the role, may result in employment action up to and including termination.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage contractual obligations for high-impact customer missions, including the implementation of communication, program management, and resource allocation artifacts.
  • Manage and deliver outcomes for national security customers as the primary point of contact between Google/Mandiant and customers.
  • Develop roadmaps and recommendations to drive client enhancements to their security architecture, governance, and standards.
  • Establish a reliable and visible cadence for program reviews, decision-making, prioritization, and resource stewardship (effective deployment of people and technology resources) whereby improvements such as efficiency and utilization gains are measurable and the impact can be felt organization wide.
  • Define/manage a program portfolio solving problems that address high business impact for the organization and product area.
