As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this role, you will work to enhance security and privacy of the Planning and Development of Product Area (PA) devices, platforms, and ecosystems by creating and adopting industry standards. You will shape regulations to offer user protections while considering compliance costs. Use industry compliance programs to differentiate our products and ecosystems, while ensuring that Google products and services remain compliant.Android is Google’s open-source mobile operating system powering more than 3 billion devices worldwide. Responsibilities

  • Define and execute security and privacy compliance programs based on regulations or industry standards.
  • Develop common controls based on regulatory requirements or technical specifications.
  • Monitor and report on program progress, to include identifying, logging, escalating risks and remediations. Manage internal stakeholders and external partners through compliance and certification programs.
  • Deliver process optimization and automation for standardized workflows.
  • Overcome tests to keep processes running and security controls operating; define and develop cross-team roles, expectations, and responsibilities; drive process development and iterative optimizations.
