Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking or corporate strategy.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • Experience with executive stakeholder management across customer success, marketing, and sales functions.
  • Understanding of Google’s product suite and it's GTM/Sales organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously that span Alphabet’s different divisions.
  • Ability to understand and articulate goals to executive teams, while maintaining exceptional attention to execution details.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and program management skills.

About the job

The Go-to-Market (GTM) Operations team is a global group that acts as the strategy, operations, and product commercialization partner to Global Business Organization (GBO). The team ensures Google's changing Ads business delivers strategic growth and operates effectively. This team is responsible for setting the go-to-market strategy, shaping priorities and resources to accelerate business growth, and commercializing the next generation of Ads products. This includes representing the customer, advocating for product requirements, and equipping teams to drive customer growth, product adoption, and business health at scale. The team also plays an important role in building excellent go-to-market infrastructure from tooling to enhancing GBOers' business skills to ensure flawless execution against desired business outcomes. GTM has teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas, as well as global teams that work across them. Team members are strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done. The Product Strategy and Operations team exists to drive coordinated product and commercial decisions across the Ads ecosystem.


In this role, you will drive outcomes spanning Google’s Product, GTM, gTech, Marketing, and Finance organization. You will be responsible for helping set the ongoing agenda for a dozen-plus executive GBO leaders. You must be able to break down ambiguous problems into clear project plans and then motivate global teams to make decisions with imperfect information.You will also partner with executives from GTM, PSA, gTech, Marketing, and Finance.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead time-sensitive strategic projects for GTM by quickly understanding the context and developing a prioritized scope and approach for resolution in ambiguous situations.
  • Work cross-functionally with GTM teams, People Operations, Sales Finance, Marketing, and Communications teams to scope, manage and execute strategic projects.
  • Derive insights from quantitative and qualitative data analysis, communicate key findings to executive leadership with executive-ready presentations, and program manage efforts on behalf of the stakeholders.
