Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience building developer tools (e.g., compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, test automation frameworks).
- Experience with test automation development.
- Experience with Engineering Tools and Infrastructure.
- Experience with test design.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in distributed systems, OS/kernel, network system design and large-scale storage systems.

Responsibilities
- Design, build next generation productivity solutions that support development activity of 1000+ YouTube Ads engineers across multiple binaries in the stack.
- Own, develop, and execute on the long-term strategy to make YouTube Ads development infrastructure reliable, debuggable, fast, efficient, and future-proof.
- Identify collaboration opportunities with other Engineering productivity teams that attempt to solve similar problems to implement generic solutions that will advance the Engineering productivity landscape within Google.
- Provide development best practice consultation for Engineering teams, and identify development workflow inefficiencies and come up with best practice recommendations.
- Drive adoptions of various home grown tools by influencing and enforcing minimal test coverage requirements across multiple partner teams.
