Head of Industry, Healthcare, Large Customer Sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Experience working in healthcare or with healthcare clients.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing and developing sales teams to deliver results, including selling creative technologies to key decision-makers.
  • Experience working with large clients in the Health industry (e.g.,Pharma, OTC, Payers).
  • Experience with planning and sales management, aligning strategies to deliver customer business outcomes.
  • Knowledge of Google Ad Solutions, video advertising (e.g., AI-powered Performance, CTV, AI-powered Video) and the key performer landscape across traditional and digital brand media advertising.
  • Understanding of customer business objectives and ability to develop joint business plans in ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and drive results in agile environments.

As a Head of Industry, you will be responsible for working with major advertisers and agencies across media, creative, and search engine marketing. In this role, you will develop and maintain C-level executive relationships, design and implement partnership initiatives, and negotiate large-scale agreements. You will also be responsible for managing and inspiring a team to deliver against a business plan, driving industry transformation through thought leadership. You will solve problems and foster cross-Google collaboration to guide clients through their digital transformation. You will engage with executives and work effectively across all areas of the business. You will coach and develop the team. You will build close, one-on-one relationships that help the team with our clients, ensuring deep and lasting partnerships.

industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how

We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $195,000-$275,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop long term C-Level relationships across the health portfolio to influence and optimize advertising investments. Set and drive business strategy, business, and product adoption for clients.
  • Provide guidance and specialized expertise to a cross-functional set of Google teams on the dynamics, trends, opportunities and implications for clients and agencies.
  • Create, identify, and execute business partnership opportunities, including leadership of cross-functional teams in the negotiation of large, media agreements.
  • Develop and bring thought leadership on partners, internal and external, and help drive sales along with implementation.
  • Manage a team of account executives and account managers responsible for driving growth across the portfolio of health clients.
