Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in a management consultancy, strategy, or go-to-market role in the tech/consumer goods industry.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-moving and dynamic work environment, demonstrating resilience and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with leadership and multiple cross-functional teams to drive alignment on go-to-market strategy and execution plans.
- Excellent investigative and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze large complex data sets to drive actionable insights on market trends to drive informed decision-making.
About the job
The Category Business Managements team supports the APAC Devices and Services Business Organization (APAC DSBO) and Sales teams on developing and executing our category Go-to-Market strategy. This includes analyzing market insights, business performance and partnering Sales teams on planning of sales promotions and management of channel sales incentives budgets to drive growth of our Pixel ecosystem and Home and Health products.
In this role, you will work directly with the APAC DSBO Country leads and Sales teams, APAC DSBO leadership and APAC cross-functional stakeholders (across Strategy and Operations, Marketing, Finance and Sales Operations) to drive actionable business insights, growth and investment recommendations while solving complex channel/partner, market, portfolio management and ecosystem issues. You’ll bring commercial acumen, strong stakeholder management, data analysis capabilities and operational accuracy.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
Responsibilities
- Partner with APAC DSBO Country Leads and Sales teams to develop Go-to-Market strategies and sales plans for the Pixel ecosystem and Home and Health portfolios. Focus on delivering in-year business plans while identifying medium-term opportunities.
- Lead coordination of promotions planning and sales/channel incentives budget management across APAC for the Pixel Ecosystem and Home and Health portfolio, ensuring quarterly and annual sales goals and profitability are met.
- Drive analysis of market trends, insights, and business performance to create sales plan recommendations that help the Sales team unlock growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams such as product planning to align new product launch strategies, marketing to align campaigns and promotions, sales operations and demand planning to monitor performance and calibrate forecasts, strategy and operations for category growth strategies.
