Program Manager, Security and Controls

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in management consulting, or project management from a public accounting firm or multi-national company.
  • Experience leading multiple, cross-functional projects, identifying and implementing process improvements; including experience designing, implementing, and testing processes and controls for enterprise resource planning (ERP) transformation projects.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (such as Oracle, SAP, S4 Hana) including standard source-to-pay, order-to-cash, financials, and payroll business processes.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP Technologies: S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori, SAP HANA DB security, and GRC Access Control.
  • Experience with Security Concepts: Role-based access control (RBAC), Segregation of Duties (SoD), Critical Actions (CA), and security-aligned Finance Business Processes (e.g., RTR, PTP, O2C, Release Management).
  • Knowledge of compliance, such as SOX, GDPR, and internal audit frameworks.
  • Understanding of SDLC methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

About the job

As a Program Manager within the Finance Security and Controls (S&C) team, you will drive outcomes for enterprise-level security impacts driven by finance priorities to help achieve our objective to minimize exposure to data and sensitive transactions. You will provide subject-matter expertise in SAP Security (e.g., Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Access Controls, Process Controls, Business Role Management, etc.) along with finance related processes knowledge throughout the development cycle, or can recommend business/finance programs, process, and system enhancements to leadership. You will work with group leaders to determine areas for optimization, deconstruct issues, and develop a scope and solution approach. You will have advanced project management skills including budget/project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and process documentation. You will be seen as a subject-matter expert in enterprise-level security focused on financial systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, FIORI, Reporting Platforms, etc.) program management.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000-$191,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive outcomes for Security-related programs and projects throughout their life-cycle. Contribute to the development of project road-maps, goal-definition, resource planning, and alignment with long-term objectives.
  • Develop a network of internal experts, contributing to cross-functional collaboration with teams like global Sarbanes-Oxley (gSOX), Data and Analytics, Finance Business Workstreams, Finance Engineering, and Finance Engineering to deliver on program goals.
    Provide recommendations to decision-makers, contributing to the future direction of Google’s Security Finance.
  • Support the identification, assessment, and management of risks associated with Finance programs focusing on Access Security to finance systems. Anticipate stakeholder issues, drive technical issue resolution, and contribute to mitigation plans to ensure the successful and compliant delivery of solutions.
  • Develop solutions leveraging various technologies and process solutions (e.g., AI).
