Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity or corporate strategy, or equivalent project management experience in a technology/media company.
- 2 years of experience with team leadership/management.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA degree.
- Experience managing relationships and working cross-functionally within global organizations.
- Knowledge of GBO and its sales channels and teams (i.e., LCS, GCS, rGTM, Global Solutions Team (GST), etc.).
- Ability to understand and articulate goals to executive teams, while maintaining exceptional attention to execution details.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously that span Alphabet’s different divisions.
- Excellent program management and written and verbal communication skills.

The Go-to-Market (GTM) Operations team is a global group that acts as a strategic, operational, and commercial partner to the Global Business Organization (GBO). This team ensures that Google's constantly evolving Ads business operates effectively and drives strategic growth. This team is responsible for setting go-to-market strategy, defining priorities and resources, and commercializing new Ads products. This includes everything from representing the customer's voice to advocating for product requirements and equipping teams to drive growth, product adoption, and business at scale. The team is also crucial in building excellent GTM infrastructure, from tooling to improving business skills and ensuring flawless execution. GTM has teams embedded in each major Ads business area, as well as global teams that work across the business. Team members are strategic and have problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic approach to getting things done. The Product Strategy and Operations team specifically drives coordinated product and commercial decisions across the Ads ecosystem. This people manager role leads the Chief-of-Staff Team, which coordinates GBO’s product and commercial activation teams. These teams help VPs set agendas and operate the business with coordinated decision-making, clear goals (OKRs), and efficient resource investment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team responsible for GPS and GCE’s annual planning, Objectives and Key Results (OKR) setting, product prio, and more.
- Drive weekly cadence/agenda for VPs’ shared priorities, clearly communicating and managing goals while proactively unblocking risks.
- Lead time-sensitive strategic projects for GTM by understanding context and developing a prioritized scope and approach for resolution in ambiguous situations.
- Work cross-functionally with GTM teams, People Operations, Sales Finance, Marketing, and Communications teams to scope, manage and execute strategic projects.
- Derive insights from quantitative and qualitative data analysis, communicate key findings to executive leadership with executive-ready presentations and program manage efforts on behalf of our stakeholders.
