Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, operations, or business strategy.
  • 3 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience implementing projects in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in program management including leading cross-functional projects to drive strategic initiatives forward.
  • Ability to understand and articulate to executives, while maintaining attention to execution details.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills in developing and executing operational initiatives (e.g., building cohesive tools and process roadmaps, driving quantitative analyses, identifying opportunities for efficiencies, planning, etc.).

Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.

As a Strategy and Operations Manager on YouTube's Trust and Safety Operations team, you will be the strategy and operations partner to the Enforcement and Operations team. You will play a key leadership role in helping the organization achieve its goals and directly contribute to YouTube’s responsibility mission.

In this role, you’ll be a thought partner to directors and leaders in trust and safety operations and cross-functional partners. You will drive projects for the Enforcement and Operations team including developing plans, processes, and frameworks to improve operations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $137,000-$201,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define and drive critical initiatives to accelerate trust and safety operations by working with cross-functional teams and executives.
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative approaches to generate insights and translate concepts into operational actions that yield positive impact.
  • Partner with leadership to understand and improve organizational productivity through the full stack of trust and safety operations.
  • Establish thought-partnership relationships with key stakeholders across the operations, product, engineering, and business organizations at YouTube.
  • Support the leadership of the Enforcement and Operations team in running the business cadence (e.g., OKR planning and business planning) and the team (e.g., organizing leadership meeting agendas, coordinating internal communications).
