Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience working with data analytics tools and reporting platforms.
  • Experience in any one of the following: Strategy, Program Management or Management Consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in Strategy and Operations, Program Management, or Management Consulting.
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis (e.g., financial modeling, budget forecasting, statistical analysis).
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, dashboards).
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a Strategy and Operations Program Manager, you will separately lead high-impact strategic initiatives and drive operational excellence across the organization. You will own the scoping, planning, and delivery of complex programs that span multiple quarters, translating vague business priorities into clear, actionable goals and roadmaps. You will partner with executive leadership to align direction and influence cross-functional decision-making through strategic data analysis and insights. You will be a self-directed professional who excels at navigating ambiguity and building momentum to deliver scalable and sustainable results.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead high-impact strategic programs from conception through execution, navigating ambiguity to deliver results that align with long-term organizational objectives and span multiple quarters.
  • Partner with executive cross-functional stakeholders to identify complex operational bottlenecks; design and implement scalable and sustainable process improvements that drive excellence and efficiency across the broader organization.
  • Own the scoping, planning, and delivery of programs by translating vague initiatives into clear goals and comprehensive execution plans, ensuring continued alignment with evolving business strategy and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Leverage strategic data analysis and insights to influence cross-functional decision-making and measure program impact, providing actionable recommendations to executive leadership to drive program momentum.
  • Drive business operations initiatives, including complex headcount planning and resource management, while establishing key operational metrics to monitor performance and inform long-term resource allocation strategies.
