Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in technology-related sales, business development, channel sales, or partner management.
- Experience working with public cloud technologies.
- Experience working with solutions providers, system integrators, independent software vendors, or technology services companies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building business partnerships with solutions providers, system integrators, or technology service providers and demonstrated knowledge of cloud partner ecosystems.
- Experience forecasting, exceeding quotas, and driving rhythm of business with partners.
- Experience presenting to executive-level audiences, including presenting at customer, partner, or industry events.
- Experience with consumption business models, cloud economics, and partner constructs.
- Experience in IaaS, data and analytics, application modernization, or security.

As a Partner Development Manager (PDM) for Service partners, you will own Google’s engagement with a select group of partners or single strategic partner. You will be responsible for establishing the foundations of the partnership by developing a joint business plan, driving practice development, ensuring technical depth, and co-promoting partner capabilities to drive delivery quality, the expansion of the partners solution and product portfolio, and business growth. You will develop close relationships with our sales and solutions teams, creating go-to-market strategies specific to our partners’ capabilities, and work with the executives to drive their joint success leveraging Google Cloud’s solutions. You will manage and optimize partner performance in accordance with business objectives and be responsible for representing the partner in business, marketing, and technical initiatives both externally and with internal executive management.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategies and joint business plans (JBPs) for a portfolio of strategic named partners.
- Implement business and technical development frameworks to increase partner technical depth, ensuring high delivery quality and increased cloud consumption.
- Accelerate the growth of partner Google Cloud practices by co-developing innovative solutions and identifying opportunities to scale via Google’s product ecosystem.
- Establish clear partner performance benchmarks and map partner capabilities to Google’s strategic priorities to meet regional business objectives.
- Manage partner performance through rigorous business reviews, tracking pipeline health, key deals, and cross-sell potential.
