  • Experience in stakeholder management, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Experience streamlining processes, optimizing operational cadences, and driving execution excellence in a large organization.
  • Excellent program management and portfolio management skills with a consistent history of initiating and driving strategic projects to successful completion.

About the job

As a StratOps Technical Program Manager, you will be instrumental in sustaining momentum across strategic initiatives, establishing and sustaining effective portfolio management, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring seamless communications within our dynamic and evolving XR organization.

In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to executive leadership, streamline processes, orchestrate across a breadth and high volume of stakeholders and teams with competing priorities, and relentlessly drive executional and operational excellence.

Google's XR team is at the forefront of the next major leap – the convergence of AI and XR. This is more than just new devices – it's about reimagining how we interact with the world around us. We're building a future where lightweight XR devices pair with helpful AI to augment human intelligence, offering personalized, conversational, and contextually aware experiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted partner to multiple XR leaders, driving portfolio management and facilitating weekly priority and alignment sessions across teams to ensure clear focus, execution, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Lead critical change management initiatives across XR, orchestrating communication reviews, reorganizations, team forums, and various engagements, ensuring smooth transitions and improved team focus.
  • Manage projects aligned with key strategic priorities. This includes managing cross-functional partnerships around our patent portfolio, access controls, leak prevention, team forums, and leadership offsites.
  • Deliver execution excellence across supported engineering organizations.
  • Engage, influence, and build strong relationships with a broad range of key stakeholders across various levels and functions within XR and Google-wide.
