The Data Lineage team develops automated lineage harvesting and an API and UI to track and visualize the transformations on data assets that customers host in BigQuery and other locations. Lineage is a key enabler for business users and data engineers to discover relevant data assets, resolve data incidents, forecast the impact of changes, ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (in particular with respect to ML models).From startups building their first app to billion-user consumer companies crunching big data, the Google Cloud Platform gives developers and businesses the most advanced data and analytics solution on the market, along with Google's secure, high performance infrastructure. Our team of technical account managers and software engineers work with partners across all functions to develop solutions that harness Google's planet-wide platform to solve the world's most challenging problems.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to design, implement, and launch new features with high product excellence, technical quality, and at high velocity.
  • Participate in monitoring and debugging efforts, support frequent releases.
  • Manage individual priorities, timelines and deliverables.
  • Communicate well with other team members.
