Customer Learning Lead, Google Cloud (English, Spanish or Portuguese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in training sales, client management or in a professional services role.
  • 5 years of experience driving customer digital transformations using cloud-based solutions and managing deals across different teams in the technology environment.
  • Experience scoping, services or training opportunities.
  • Experience in cloud technologies.
  • Ability to communicate in English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders and business partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles, guiding enterprise clients through significant business and technology transformations and selling training serving solutions.
  • Experience working with executive level clients or stakeholders (e.g., running periodic stakeholder engagements or steering committees).
  • Ability to forge and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to navigate customer organizational structures, skill in developing and effectively selling service solutions, and ensuring timely project delivery.

About the job

The Cloud Learning Services team develops and delivers Google Cloud product and solution training to thousands of customers, resale and technology partners, end-users and developers, and has ambitious plans to quickly grow both the range and reach of the training portfolio. As a Customer Learning Lead for the Americas region, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, holding executive level relationships, driving business, forecasting and building and delivering training programs.

Your responsibilities include structuring learning programs and proposals, managing partners, and delivering monthly reviews to internal stakeholders. You will be expected to work closely with many other internal teams, including teams from the wider training organization such as the training operations team as well as with Pursuit leads, local marketing, sales, professional services and partner teams to drive the success of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and direct the regional training strategy, focusing on campaigns, learner engagement, business generation, and booking goals.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Cloud Consulting and Customer Engineering teams to gather customer requirements and use cases, developing tailored training strategies for individual accounts.
  • Articulate and position the value of training to customers, presenting comprehensive training strategies and leading negotiations.
  • Stay informed on the Training Roadmap and provide updates to Field Sales Teams, Learning Advocate, and Professional Services Teams.
  • Partner with Authorized Training Partners to develop and deliver prescriptive training programs, leveraging Google Cloud Platform Training Portfolio across all modalities.
