Onboarding Sales Lead, Google Ads (English, Mandarin)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 3 years of experience in leadership or team management.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and Mandarin to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the media or digital advertising industry.
  • Experience in pipeline management and sales funnel management.
  • Experience leading teams with a focus on coaching and mentoring along with Ability to develop business teams and working towards goals.
  • Understanding of how the C-suite plans and manages Profit and Loss for their business and how Google platforms can shape their approach to drive sustainable growth.
  • Ability to work with regional and global teams.

About the job

With a rapidly growing array of sales teams, it's important to have knowledgeable, charismatic leaders to guide our client sales teams. As a Sales manager, you'll lead and coach high-performing account teams that use consultative sales skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business. Sales managers willingly help their teams and roll up their sleeves to partner directly with clients to provide comprehensive service. You are an excellent communicator with a proven ability to train and motivate a large team, and you take an analytical approach to sales management.

In the Kickstart+ team at Google you will focus on driving customer sustainability.

We believe that an effective onboarding to increase the customer’s sustainability can be achieved through attentive support and regular communications. In this role, you will have product knowledge, consultative promoting, and account management - responsible for managing the relationship with our acquisitions and the same store team for the customer. Understanding of the Customer’s business goals and needs is essential in helping you to anticipate how decisions are made. Together with the Customer, you will set the direction and the strategy for how their marketing plan can reach thousands of users.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coach teams of business expertise to deliver excellent performance; develop their digital marketing expertise and build client partnerships. Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and partner stakeholders. Develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Own and structure a joint strategy with Agency and cross-functional business relationships for the markets. Ensure seamless transitions.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.Deliver against goals and activity for the portfolio of clients.
  • Build the knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
