About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will partner with operations teams to manage the execution of the forecasting process and enhance solutions that optimize logistics planning across Google Cloud's supply chain. A key focus is driving forecast accuracy, improving transparency of methods, and incorporating operational realities into the analysis. This involves managing the forecast cadence, facilitating cross-functional reviews, and ensuring process alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate forecast outputs into operational planning, drive alignment with local teams, and manage the forecasting cycle (e.g., data collection, consolidation, review, distribution) as a recurring program.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data/insights for forecasting and logistics needs, leads forecast reviews (e.g., presenting data, assumptions, and driving consensus), and communicate finalized forecasts to inform logistics execution.
  • Identify trends/outliers/inaccuracy drivers, and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve forecast reliability for logistics decisions.
  • Analyze historical demand/operational data to inform forecasts and their impact on logistics resources, distribute standard forecast/performance reports and operational planning, and support analysis of forecast data for logistics implications.
  • Support budget/operational planning by providing forecast data, analysis, and insights to inform logistics resource allocation.
