Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
  • 5 years of experience with data analysis and data tools (e.g., SQL, MySQL,Tableau, etc.).
  • 5 years of experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Applied Science, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience working with systems design and product design.
  • Experience implementing technical solutions, driving strategy across multiple products, and managing the product development lifecycle.
  • Experience with data-driven analysis, reporting, data-driven decision-making, and success measurement.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at a time, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical audiences and executive leadership.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional alignment sessions with leadership, manage conflicting stakeholders, and drive conflict resolution.

The GCS Revenue Strategy & Operations (RSO) organization provides business critical analytical insights, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams to drive global initiatives forward. RSO is the global team within Google Customer Solutions (GCS) that makes sure Google's complex and ever-evolving business runs smoothly and scales. Experts in leading process improvements and consistency, team members are analytical and strategic with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done. We develop large-scale initiatives to deliver customer success and set high-level goals to improve productivity.

Within RSO, the GPL team’s mission is to empower GCS to grow customers globally by delivering solutions through technology and operational excellence. We do this by partnering closely and building trust with GCS business and technology teams, and delivering excellent products/solutions for our users. We are laser focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with strong day-to-day operations, and helping evolve early stage ideas into future feature initiatives.

As the Head of Sales Performance and Innovation, you will lead a team that works on reporting and insights to drive sales performance improvements, analytics and data infrastructure to focus on enabling go-to-market insights, and the incubation and scaling of new AI use cases via the GCS Innovation Lab. This is a cross-functional role where you will be given responsibility and ability to drive growth across all facets of a massive GCS team through technology.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $224,000-$315,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to deliver reporting and insights focused on driving sales performance improvements, continuously prioritizing, productionizing, and delivering insights based on the latest seller needs.
  • Drive the data strategy and infrastructure that allows RSO to build out reporting, insights, and analytics in the most efficient manner.
  • Incubate the next wave of transformative AI applications for Google Customer Solutions.
  • Partner directly with senior stakeholders across engineering, product, and sales teams to deeply understand user pain points, form business requirements, and prioritize solutions to influence the direction of sales facing insights and reporting.
  • Play a key role in training development and larger deployments globally to ensure proper activation of our solutions.
