Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program management.
- Experience working with Network Infrastructure.
- Experience in life-cycle management (LCM) of networking gear or deployment of new enterprise networking solutions.
Preferred qualifications:
- PMP or Agile project management certification (such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar certifications in network technologies).
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in delivering and managing large-scale complex network migrations projects.
- Experience managing technical vendors.

You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.In Google Enterprise Networking, we aspire to provide a predictable experience for Googlers with connectivity, mobility, security, privacy, and performance everywhere! At the same time, we want to support Partner Technical Infrastructure Teams’ objectives and policies as well as serve Product Area and Alphabet requests. We also want to make our Corporate Network a platform to enable new services/experiences for Googlers - IOT, next-gen workspace, context-aware user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage and drive the delivery of network engineering and life-cycle management (LCM) deployment programs/projects while leveraging automation and software programs by coordinating with global delivery teams across the company to facilitate efficient network services to customers.
- Manage third-party vendors responsible for the monitoring and troubleshooting of network services, including facilitating any escalations requiring engineering assistance.
- Work with management to design and launch new processes, institute process improvements, and ensure the efficient/reliable achievement of process objectives.
- Develop reports to track scope, schedule, budget, risks, and overall project status; coordinate with stakeholders to manage, track, and control project issues to ensure timely delivery.
- Partner with Network Engineers, Software Engineers, and Project Managers to deliver large technical networking projects.
