Analytical Lead, Business Operations and Sales Growth, GCS

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in quantitative analysis, working with datasets, and translating data into business insights using tools like SQL and spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets).

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in strategy, business operations, data analytics, or similar roles with a focus on business growth or problem-solving insights.
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional projects from conception to execution, demonstrating project management skills.
  • Ability to think, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion, while acting as an team player who can lead efforts across disciplines.
  • Excellent executive communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to articulate topics clearly and concisely.

As an Analytical Lead in APAC RSO, you will not just analyze data; you will be instrumental in building data landscape using AI, becoming the go-to expert on the data behind the GCS APAC business. You will conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover critical insights that directly inform and build the future strategy of the business, optimize operations, and assess the impact of initiatives. Beyond insights, you will lead initiatives that are vital to the future growth of Google’s ad business across APAC.

You will translate data into insights, and present them to audiences, including executive leadership. Your highly collaborative nature will be essential for working with a broad range of colleagues across functions and locations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive APAC Google Customer Solutions Team's overall business cadence, ensuring alignment and effective execution across the region.
  • Guide the transformation of our core sales data infrastructure, exploring and implementing AI and machine learning solutions to enhance data quality, accessibility, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Derive insights from datasets to understand business drivers and operating metrics, and translate these insights into clear recommendations.
  • Identify and advocate impact, growth opportunities, design, develop, and lead the execution of these new initiatives, collaborating across sales leadership and cross-functional teams to accelerate business growth.
  • Build relationships and a network across all levels of our sales organization to capture seller and customer feedback, and leverage these to identify challenges and opportunities, facilitate and persuade executives to drive alignment and action.
