Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with product management.
- Experience in consumer Machine Learning (ML) product launches.
- Experience directing product improvements within machine learning, AI or recommendations products.
- Experience with experiment design (e.g., counterfactuals, holdbacks, interpretation, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with data science, quant analysis or a related field.
- Experience with Generative AI Product Management (e.g., model quality, costing, responsibility, performance, etc.).
- Experience working with network effect products (e.g., sharing, social, three sided marketplaces, etc.).
- Ability to analyze data and generate novel insights to support strategic decisions.
- Ability to effectively communicate product outlook, go-to-market strategy and contribute to design discussions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define and advocate a compelling roadmap for notifications quality, aligned with YouTube's overall strategy. Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that addresses market opportunities, user needs and dynamic landscape.
- Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap that balances short-term goals with long-term goals. Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration.
- Conduct and steer user research to generate insights that inform investments in Women Discovery.
- Analyze logs and evaluate ML/recommendation system effectiveness to identify opportunities and validate user needs shared by the UX researcher, addressing them through recommendation systems.
