Performance Enablement Lead, Seller Success

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in product strategy, marketing strategy, ad agencies, research agencies, product marketing, product management, management consulting, or similar roles.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Frontline experience (e.g., Sales, regional specialist).
  • Experience structuring storylines for presentations, developing compelling narratives, and embracing new technology for learning & development.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders, managing multiple stakeholders, and leading project workstreams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership skills, including ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, ambiguous team environment.
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving, and a strategic mindset.
  • Proficiency in Google Ads Performance products (e.g., PMax, AI Max for Search campaigns, etc.).

Product Sales Activation’s mission is to shape, simplify, and scale product solutions to help businesses of all sizes grow with Google. We are the product and business experts behind GCS Googlers responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth and product adoption.

The Seller Success team was formed to drive a transformational evolution in sales culture and abilities across GCS salesforce. We partner cross-functionally to execute on our mission to empower GCS sellers, fuel GCS customers, and drive GCS growth. We’re responsible for activating GCS’ GTM strategy by equipping sellers with the knowledge, skills, and tools to engage with customers.

As an Enablement Lead, you will partner with the GCS Global Performance team to activate their product GTM strategy through seller enablement. You'll focus on priority topic areas using a deep understanding of the Performance team’s go-to-market plan, adoption challenges, and gaps in seller knowledge. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to activate the strategies and roadmaps, enabling GCS sales teams and clients with knowledge and skills to be successful. You'll support the enablement for critical go-to-market tools, keeping a close relationship with teams to ensure alignment between GCS and the Global GTM team.

In addition, you’ll design and implement an end-to-end enablement plan by creating and curating relevant assets, tools, and trainings to equip sellers at scale. You will work cross-functionally to design, develop, and deliver global sales materials direct-to-sales and direct-to-customer.

The impact of the enablement materials you’ll create are measured through training CSAT scores, product adoption growth, and overall seller engagement, as well as desired Google Way of Selling (GWS) sales outcomes.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Identify gaps in seller knowledge, explore root cause, and analyze highest impact enablement opportunities aligned to go-to-market commercialization goals. Explore emerging growth opportunities and pilot initiatives with rPSA and sales.
  • Design a global, scalable enablement curriculum to empower sellers to competitively sell search and performance solutions aligned to customer marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to agree on consistent messaging, prioritize needs, and respond to regional variations.
  • Develop high quality resources that translate product-heavy terminology into simple, easy-to-understand terms and narratives for GCS sellers and customers.
  • Ideate and prototype tools integrated into seller workflows that improves opportunity identification and solution navigation. Use data and insights to optimize audience reach and engagement, and modify strategy accordingly.
