Business Development Manager, Southern Europe, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience meeting and exceeding goals in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products.
  • Experience in business development, field sales or vendor sales management roles within the technology industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in exceeding business goals in the technology industry with cloud computing solutions.
  • Experience sourcing leads and generating business pipeline.
  • Experience in working with digital natives and enterprise customers based in the south region.
  • Ability to communicate in one or more of the sub-region’s local languages (e.g., French, Arabic, Hebrew, Dutch, Spanish, Italian) fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

As the Business Development for Southern Europe, you will play a key role in the EMEA business development sales organization and as part of the customer experience organization. You will be part of a high performing management team and lead the business development sales across all markets of the south region (e.g., France, Iberia, Italy, Benelux, Israel). You will direct our trusted regional suppliers to deliver exceptional business results through vendor BDRs (Business Development Representatives), while ensuring an outstanding experience to customers and prospects. Your work will be critical so that the organization as a whole can meet or exceed our sales and growth goals.

Responsibilities

  • Own the management of all facets of the Google Cloud Business Development motion in the South region to deliver measurable outcomes, in particular driving pipeline and business for Google Cloud products and services across our goals customer segments and priority business plays.
  • Deliver on monthly and quarterly metrics, including Annual Contract Value (ACV) goals for Business Development Representatives (BDRs), business goals for Digital Sales Representatives (DSRs), and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders across field sales, partner channel sales, specialist sales, marketing, vendor management organization, customer engineering and practice GTM to ensure alignment on Cloud’s priorities when scaling the business.
