Strategy and Operations Manager, Global Partnerships

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in engaged selling.
  • Experience as a facilitator for learning programs and workshops.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advising executive leaders on strategy, organization, and operations topics.
  • Experience managing and delivering project components with limited guidance.
  • Proven ability to identify and solve problems within a given project scope.
  • Excellent investigative skills, including the ability to distill insights from complex data and present actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

Within Global Partnerships, the Sellside organization works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The team partners with Publishers and App Developers of all sizes to promote their ad inventory, working with Google's broad range of partner solutions including AdSense, AdMob, and Ad Manager, across mobile, display, and video formats, helping our partners and their audiences get the most out of the web.

We support and improve ongoing operations in areas such as Sales tools and processes, making agreements, learning and development, Sales enablement services and vendor management. We equip the business for future success by driving planning and decision making and by managing projects and key initiatives to accelerate growth.

In this role, you will plan, organize and run the Learning and Development programs for all three regions Global Partnerships (GP) Sellside. You will work with stakeholders in Mastery, Product Go-To-Market, Sales and other teams to run our learning strategy, planning and programs. You will plan and organize workshops that develop skills and nurture peer-to-peer learning to enable our teams to achieve business objectives and grow individually.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Execute, scope and document the learning strategy and programs for the Sellside to equip our teams with the knowledge, skills and resources to effectively compete and win in the market, and grow.
  • Design and organize learning workshop and training formats and templates that can be delivered efficiently and enable to achieve business outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in existing processes and programs and optimize communication to distributed stakeholders across the Sellside.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Go-To-Market, GP Mastery and other teams to scope, manage and execute learning programs and individual workshops.
  • Define, set, and track metrics to reach desired outcomes across both activities completed and outputs achieved.
