Hub Lead, Large Customer Sales, EMEA

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Experience in leadership, coaching, mentoring, and developing teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing and developing sales teams to sell and propose creative technologies across a landscape of key decision makers.
  • Experience influencing executive-level clients and stakeholders and driving results in complex, agile environments.
  • Experience in leadership in sales/operations management, strategic planning, and systems thinking, with the ability to align strategies and deliver customer business outcomes.
  • Knowledge of Google Ad Solutions, video advertising (e.g., AI-powered Performance, CTV, AI-powered Video) and the key competitor landscape across traditional and digital brand media advertising.
  • Understanding of customer business objectives and ability to develop joint business plans in complex, ambiguous environments.

In this role, you will work with the Sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business, helping your teams deliver on goals and partnering directly with clients. You will train and motivate a team, while taking an analytical approach to sales management.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a high performing team, invest in each member of your team, setting a high bar with expectation setting, delivering regular feedback, performance management, talent and career development.
  • Manage a team of account managers and specialists to deliver excellent performance. Develop their digital marketing expertise, mentor them, provide supportive and honest career evaluations, and facilitate professional development plans.
  • Work side-by-side with your team of Googlers to create material business impact.
  • Establish key cross-functional relationships with key sales and strategic support partners both in the Hub and in-country, seek and scale best practices by continually bringing the best of Google to our Customers.
  • Drive the business with strong operational efficiency, trading and team guidance, executing on the team vision and delivering against an ambitious business plan.
