Central Strategy and Operations Lead, Go-To-Market (English, Chinese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, business operations, or project management.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience in identifying problems and developing strategies.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Chinese fluently, to support the Greater China and Korea stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in working with digital ads with the knowledge of Google’s business.
  • Experience in working with datasets and dashboards (e.g., Google Sheets, SQL database queries/analysis).
  • Ability to take initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, relationship development and collaboration skills.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

In this role, you will work in partnership with business leadership to support the strategy planning and execution in the Greater China and Korea market, as well as lead and manage central projects and and operations that are important to the growth of Google’s business. You will process inputs into executable pillars for the business, partnering with executive level business stakeholders. You will drive projects and initiatives forward in a structured manner.The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Drive cross-functional projects as a contributor from manager, and identify and develop strategies for problems (e.g., business growth/service models, product strategy)
  • Influence across teams to align resources and direction, develop relationships with executive stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across Google with Asia-Pacific (APAC) and global Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to implement global/regional best practices in Greater China and Korea.
  • Solve problems with multiple solutions, identify potential roadblocks and remove them.
  • Own a business area and serve as a subject matter expert.
