- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience in a sales role in the enterprise software or cloud space.
- Leadership experience within a quota-carrying team, such as people management, team lead, mentorship or coaching.
- Experience implementing pipeline generation and sales processes and best practices.
Preferred qualifications:
- 4 years of people management experience in an Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) sales role.
- Experience leading teams, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
- Experience selling data technologies to clients.

As a Field Sales Manager, you'll build and manage a team of Sales Representatives, working to drive awareness, adoption and business growth for Google Cloud’s Looker business in relation to all customer segments across the southern EMEA region.

Responsibilities
- Define and build a GTM strategy for the EMEA South region focused on ensuring a team of enterprise sellers can reliably build and close pipeline.
- Build and maintain executive relationships with customers, consult long-term strategic direction and act as a trusted advisor.
- Build, coach, mentor, motivate and guide a team of representatives. Manage the team day-to-day, offering leveraged support for critical business opportunities, as well as career mentorship.
- Develop and execute a strategy to accelerate Looker sales growth in the region.
- Be able to assist customers in identifying use cases suitable for Looker deployment, and articulate key differentiators and typical customer buying journeys. Display a passion for how businesses are transformed through the use of data and analytics.
