Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of consulting or customer-facing experience focused on delivering cloud solutions.
  • Experience architecting, developing or maintaining cloud solutions in cloud environments.
  • Experience in people management including managing engineers or architects through technical project delivery.
  • Experience managing partners (e.g., channel partners, systems integrators, third-party developers) to deliver solutions.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish or Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience across cloud architectural capabilities with a broad set of enterprise use cases.
  • Experience implementing large-scale cloud or software projects in corporate environments.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage across multiple time sensitive initiatives.

As an Enterprise Architecture Manager, you will lead a technical team that is an integral part of the broader Professional Services organization. You will bring your demonstrated leadership acumen to a team responsible for helping transform businesses through the innovative use of Google Cloud Platform. Your team will provide program management, solutions delivery, and engineering expertise for Google’s largest customers. You and your team will advise customers on business transformation, success patterns, and establishing architectural blueprints as the foundation for migration to Google Cloud. Your team will propose, develop, and implement new approaches and provide execution consistency and repeatability for these engagements. Your team will represent and deliver best practices across the areas of infrastructure modernization, application modernization, and more. Your team will collaborate cross-functionally within Google, and in support of our strong partner community.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive and high-performing team culture, through hiring, developing, and retaining a team with clear objectives, performance management, and career coaching.
  • Manage and grow a team of Enterprise Architects focused on enterprise-wide cloud migrations (e.g., infrastructure, data, and applications).
  • Recommend and document migration paths, integration strategies, and application architectures required to successfully implement complete solutions using best practices on Google Cloud.
  • Drive the development of best practices and assets to support initiatives to scale expertise to accelerate implementations and cloud adoption.
  • Oversee delivery excellence, exceptional customer satisfaction, and accurate estimation of customer outcomes.
