As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Google Enterprise Network PMO (Program Management Office) is a centralized team that drives program oversight and governance to enable increased program velocity, predictability and quality in support of business objectives. The team helps improve the efficiency and effectiveness of program management within the organization. This team is responsible for standardizing program management processes and tools, providing training and change management to drive alignment, and measuring and reporting on program performance.

As the Program Manager, you will have an understanding of program management principles, data management and reporting, and product lifecycle. You will manage programs in a fast paced environment, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, analyze data and identify insights, develop and implement processes, and drive change initiatives.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement reporting on key metrics to enable leadership oversight of program performance, and program manager capacity and workload management.
  • Develop and improve program management, data management and reporting standards for the team, to improve program execution velocity, predictability and quality, and to ensure accurate data reporting and insights.
  • Work with partner teams, establish mechanisms to drive alignment and continuous improvement to program management and product life cycle processes, milestones, and assets.
  • Organize and manage the activities that lead to the outcomes of a project, while monitoring and communicating progress, changes, risks, and mitigations.
  • Manage existing and new cross-functional programs through their full lifecycle to meet business-level objectives.
