Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in analytics, strategy, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a people management role, including setting priorities, aligning resources, and ensuring execution.
  • Experience communicating with executive-level stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication and people skills, with experience interacting with senior executives.
  • Deep knowledge of Google's Ads products, sales teams, or service operations, and the competitive landscape.
  • Ability to attract, retain, and cultivate high-caliber talent in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver impactful insights and drive operational excellence.
  • A track record of strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and leading operational initiatives.

The Product & Learning Analytics team provides the critical insights that define our product and Go-to-Market strategy for SMB businesses. Our team helps influence the development of our products and creates scalable data solutions that empower our internal and customer-facing teams.

As the Head of Product & Learning Analytics, you will lead the analytical agenda that shapes our mid- to long-term product GTM plans. You will navigate complex, ambiguous business and product challenges to drive long-term success. You will drive improvements across customer segmentation, product prioritization, sales strategy, and business growth. To accomplish this, you will build and lead a high-performing team of pragmatic, results-oriented analysts and engage with leaders across the organization to influence critical outcomes.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership to define the analytical strategy and provide data-driven solutions for complex business challenges.
  • Hire, coach, and grow a high-performing team of talent.
  • Deliver high-quality, actionable analytical support to key partner teams, including GCS and GBO, to inform and influence business decisions.
  • Identify recurring data needs across the organization and lead the team to build elegant, scalable data solutions to increase efficiency and impact.
  • Leverage Google's technology to drive innovation in the team's analytical work.
