Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or equivalent experience with enterprise software technology.
  • 9 years of experience in Public Sector.
  • Experience in cloud technology or cloud messaging, productivity tools and specifically Google Cloud solutions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience driving field sales team content enablement programs.
  • Experience working in a fluid, dynamic and ambiguous environment, and in partnership with global cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding complex business and technical issues and structure messaging in a way that is simple and meaningful for audience.
  • Ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders at the executive level.
  • Ability to track the record of working collaboratively across multiple teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously and driving them to completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with storytelling/narrative frameworks.

About the job

As an Industry Content Manager, Public Sector, you will be responsible for positioning Google Cloud’s industry value propositions in the context of customer issues and empowering the global salesforce to have business value conversations. You will partner closely with Global Industry and Solutions leaders and the Marketing organization to develop influential sales and external thought leadership content in support of Google Cloud’s industry strategies.

Reporting to the Global Director of Content, you will ensure promoters are equipped to speak the language of their customers and be focused on the business and technical outcomes of the customer base. A pivot to industry-framed solutions and value selling is a key objective for Google Cloud and you will play a critical role in this journey.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$254,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop customer-facing content, positioning the value of Google Cloud to solve industry-specific issues.
  • Assimilate industry and solution details from subject matter experts and translate into high-impact field and customer-ready content.
  • Act as an industry thought leader by proactively developing industry narratives, insights and thought leadership content around key industry events and moments.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Partner Enablement teams to activate and train sellers and partners on industry content across a variety of channels (e-learning modules, in person training, etc.).
  • Manage industry portals to deliver content and industry community engagement for sellers and external partners.
