Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience building or leveraging Artificial Intelligence Solutions or ML APIs and developing applications utilizing AI methods or frameworks.
- Experience with development methodologies, modernizing legacy applications, and application performance profiling and tuning.
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as needed.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience designing and implementing GenAI based applications, using Agentic design.
- Experience with contact center technologies and platforms and building conversational applications.
- Experience coding in one or more of the following languages: Javascript, Java, Go.
- Experience serving as a technical sales engineer in a high-performance computing environment or in a customer-facing role.
- Experience expertise in Agentic Design, especially Chat and Call Center systems, Agents, Search, and GenAI.

You will identify and assess AI opportunities, helping customers innovate faster and develop a comprehensive cloud strategy by using our flexible and broad AI portfolio, including the VertexAI and Conversational AI product families. This involves assisting with pilot programs and working closely with internal stakeholders to overcome challenges and influence the evolution of our offerings.Google Public Sector brings the magic of Google to the mission of government and education with solutions purpose-built for enterprises. We focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we continue to make significant investments and grow our team to meet the complex needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify business opportunities and key customer technical issues, developing a strategy to resolve technical issues.
- Recommend and document migration paths, integration strategies, and application architecture needed to implement a complete solution using Google Cloud best practices.
- Assist AI Solutions teams, contributing to solution and use case assets.
- Lead workshops for strategic customers to assess existing application/infrastructure environments and organizational readiness; identify potential use cases for cloud computing and paths to digital transformation.
- Develop architectural blueprints and demos to help customers understand how our AI services can be used to modernize their workloads; assist customers deploy solutions that use Conversational Agents, AI services, VertexAI, and our broader GenAI portfolio.
