Android Business Development Manager (English, Mandarin)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin to manage the partners in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Strategy, GTM or Consultancy fields.
  • Ability to grow in a fluid team and be flexible along with attention to detail through follow-up and tracking.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fluid environment.
  • Ability to work on projects through from conception to completion.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute the Android Ecosystem Strategy for Greater China (Taiwan, Hong Kong) to Grow and defend the Android Ecosystem.
  • Develop partnerships with Android Ecosystem Partners such as telecom operators, retailers, solution providers, mobile phone/device OEMs.
  • Lead and help cross-Partners and Devices (P&D) and cross-Google initiatives with the Android Ecosystem partners.
  • Drive Premium Android devices growth. Advance AI through transformative cross-Google agreements built-on on Google AI.
  • Drive business value through Google One Subscriptions, Play, other new streams and cost reduction.
