Program Manager III, Supply Chain, Strategy and Insights, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in Business Strategy, Management Consulting, or Supply Chain Operations.
  • Experience with Data Analytics.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with the hyperscale data center environments, specifically within the supply chain or technical infrastructure organization.
  • Excellent executive communication, financial acumen and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise insights for audiences, including Director and stakeholders.
  • Experience with leading comprehensive market intelligence exercises, including benchmarking cross-organizational performance with external resources, and contributing to multi-year planning.

Cloud Supply Chain and Operations (CSCO) makes Alphabet the trusted partner for our customers, by delivering unmatched speed, unwavering reliability, and unparalleled efficiency of our technical infrastructure. The Strategy and Operations team within Server Operations leads the goals, strategy, and multi-year transformation of the end-to-end strategic enablers for Global Server Operations across multiple supply chain and data center infrastructure teams.

In this role, you will lead strategic, cross-organizational initiatives to deliver strategic and operational excellence goals to enable Google's explosive growth. You will leverage the supply chain experience, to partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment, establish program structure and governance and create roadmaps to execute supply chain process and systems transformation programs aimed at delivering scalability, and efficiency for Google supply chain.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Establish a transformative industry insights and benchmarking capability, leveraging credible and quantitative data, and managing third-party sources or professional services, where appropriate, to rapidly formulate points of view for executive leadership.
  • Act as program manager for our boldest initiatives at their early stages, incubating complex ideas, enabling partner teams, and formulating recommendations to strengthen the program trajectory.
  • Drive quick-response strategy development for a rapidly shifting environment, responding to executive leadership directives, inquiries, and ensure the organization is well positioned for success.
  • Advocate the annual strategy planning process and documentation, leadership to prioritize initiatives and investments across the organization.
  • Cultivate a network of collaborative partnerships with peer organizations and industry experts, enabling unified and comprehensive decisions, backed by expert inputs.
