Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience working in an account management/sales planning role.
- Experience working in client management as well as stakeholder management.
- Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently, to communicate with different regional customers and stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with client service/account management, within e-commerce or with an omnichannel retailer.
- Experience in shopping ad types.
- Ability to have an influential approach to understanding and aligning to stakeholder needs.
- Ability to synthesize business insights and inform business strategy.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with support teams to troubleshoot customer issues and provide outstanding customer service.
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and presentation skills.

The Business Operations and Strategy team at Google plays a critical role in defining and driving strategic, operational and organizational improvements across the company. Also known as "BizOps", the group operates like an internal consulting group working on a range of critical projects and issues. BizOps creates strategies for promoting growth of our products like YouTube, Chrome and Mobile. They handle issues around partner development, strategy work in emerging markets such as Africa and India, as well as pricing strategies across our B2B and consumer products. The BizOps team is at the forefront of Google's fast-moving strategic priorities, addressing operational challenges and enabling innovation.
Responsibilities
- Work with advertisers across APAC (mainly China) to assist on their shopping campaign. Help advertisers grow their export footprint and Return on Investment (ROI).
- Plan and execute shopping campaign reviews and client workshops or marketing events in country.
- Lead strategic discussions with the merchants’ key decision makers to design and implement plans for shopping optimization and growth.
- Analyze data and trends in order to create meaningful insights for the merchants. Gather and interpret key customer feedback, issuing recommendations to the business on how to delight our merchants.
