Head of Data, Global Client and Agency Solutions

Minimum qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in technology sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Experience in Leadership/people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in data and analytics.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and data analytics within Home, Personal Care and Tech sectors.
  • Understanding media businesses and management operations within the digital media ecosystem in business development, client relationship and servicing skills, and solution-based selling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on projects in a cross-functional setting, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with building relationships with executive stakeholders.

Our Global Clients and Agency Solutions (GCAS) team helps serve some of the brands. Our dedicated teams of marketing and advertising specialists use their unique skill sets to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We aspire to advise our clients on all aspects of their online business strategy. Using Google's products, we help our clients connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The Head Data, Measurement and Analytics manages a team of pod-aligned Data Transformation Leads and problem-solving Leads. In this function you will be the team's measurement and analytics thought leader, lead the team's strategy across these priority areas, and act as an active member of the pod’s leadership team.

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, a holistic measurement agenda and market analysis.

Global marketing done right is becoming more challenging due to fast-changing consumer expectations, changes in individual market landscapes, and the rate of technological change. At its core, Global Clients and Agency Solutions (GCAS) helps leading brands, trade bodies and marketing partners navigate this complexity so that they can continue to be the market makers who positively shape our industry. Everyday, we help our partners fully utilize Google’s products, talent and insights to advance their marketing performance and the advertising ecosystem at large. Whether through building stronger tech and media foundations, surfacing cutting edge insights or structuring industry dialogue, GCAS helps shape what’s next into now.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Data Transformation Leads and Problem-solving Leads. Coach them on skills and capabilities to deliver impact, growth-driven work.
  • Build and foster relationships with global/regional/division clients and partners stakeholders leading the Data and Tech agenda. 
  • Set the agenda for an overall measurement transformation strategy which is reflected in QBRs, JBPs etc., pitching benefits of adopting Google platforms and products.
  • Drive adoption of Google solutions; identify and vet clients for potential projects aimed at improving maturity and support development of data maturity and measurement frameworks.
  • Understand customer business objectives, help them navigate increasing measurement ambiguity, and increase business impact by solving measurement problems that advance digital maturity across Google’s owned and operated product suite.
