Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience working with supply chain operations and risk management in the technology industry or cloud environment.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and Chinese fluently to communicate with suppliers in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in business continuity or supply chain management (e.g ISO 22301, CBCP, MBCI, MAS).
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and tools.
  • Understanding of business continuity best practices and industry standards.
  • Ability to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.

About the job

As part of the GCD Strategy and Transformation team, our mission is to be the trusted partner in providing objective and thoughtful insights to enable Cloud Supply Chain Operations (CSCO) to accomplish its strategic goals. We are responsible for where we take the business and how -- overall strategy planning, business operations, building organizational capabilities, and change management.


As a Supply Chain Strategic Risk Program Manager, you will lead specific initiatives to improve CSCO’s ability to monitor, assess, and address a variety of supply chain risk factors. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders across CSCO and with CSCO’s external partners including suppliers, contract manufacturers and logistics providers to improve the resilience of our supply chain network, business processes, tools, and performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing business continuity plans (BCPs) for both our suppliers (external partners) and our internal Cloud Supply Chain Operations organization. You will work separately to drive initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build and insure operational resilience in the face of unexpected events.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities

  • Structure and drive a comprehensive business continuity program to implement, and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans (BCPs) for Google's Cloud suppliers; including risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to assess their maturity, identify vulnerabilities, and provide guidance to improve their resilience.
  • Conduct regular business continuity plans (BCP) exercises and drills to validate plans and identify areas for improvement. Develop and maintain the BCP for Google's Cloud Supply Chain Operations organization, ensuring alignment with global business continuity standards.
  • Monitor and analyze emerging threats and trends in the supply chain landscape, providing insights and recommendations to mitigate potential risks.
  • Contribute to the team's supply chain intelligence program by leveraging language skills and regional expertise to gather and analyze relevant information.
