Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience with systems automation, and with systems design and implementation.
- 3 years of experience with technical infrastructure (e.g., deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting).
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of experience with software engineering in a cloud/infrastructure environment.
- Experience with on-premises/hybrid products.
- Knowledge of building and operating compute infrastructure.
- Understanding of cloud platforms, including architectural.
- Excellent problem-solving and investigative skills.

Responsibilities
- Work with peer engineers and managers within Google teams to design, implement and test software tools, services and automation.
- Partner with internal cross-functional organizations and external vendors and partners.
- Contribute to customer advocacy by understanding user needs and helping to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
- Support the team in maintaining and enhancing product, engineering, operational, and support excellence to ensure reliable and high-performance operations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Program Manager, Technical Program Manager, Support) to ensure the timely delivery of new product initiatives.
