Head of Security Sales, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in a sales role in the enterprise software, cloud or cybersecurity space.
  • Experience identifying cybersecurity use cases to solve customer challenges or selling cybersecurity technology to clients.
  • Experience in Leadership within a quota-carrying team, such as people management, team lead, mentorship or coaching.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience selling cybersecurity solutions or services.
  • Experience working with channel partners in Canada and possessing an established network of contacts within the Canadian cybersecurity market.
  • Experience in Google Cloud Platform and its cybersecurity offerings.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
  • Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry and ecosystem, including players, trends, and technologies.

As the Country Manager for Cybersecurity Sales in Canada, you will be responsible for leading and executing the go-to-market strategy for Google Cloud's cybersecurity solutions. This is a critical leadership role requiring an understanding of the Canadian market building and scaling sales organizations, and for technology and cybersecurity. You will be responsible for all aspects of cybersecurity sales in Canada, including forecasting, team management and development, and building relationships with stakeholders, particularly the Cloud Sales teams in Canada.

(British Columbia & Canada-Remote Only*) The British Columbia base salary range for this full-time position is CAD 204,000-255,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall cybersecurity sales strategy for Canada, aligning with global and regional objectives.
  • Recruit, Manage and develop a performing team of cybersecurity sales professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including the Cloud Sales teams and Leaders in Canada, to ensure collaboration and maximize sales.
  • Drive business growth and market share capture for Google Cloud’s cybersecurity solutions within the Canadian market and accurately forecast sales pipeline and business, providing regular updates to leadership.
  • Identify and develop partnerships and alliances within the Canadian cybersecurity ecosystem and represent Google Cloud Cybersecurity at industry events and conferences within Canada, contributing to thought leadership and market awareness.
