About the job

AI is the most profound technology Google is working on, and it’s already integral to many of our products that billions of people use everyday. Looking ahead to the next decade, AI is how Google will execute on the most ambitious version of our mission yet, and enable everyone to reach their full potential. The opportunity ahead is massive for Marketing to further establish and accelerate Google’s leadership position in AI across a range of dimensions and to reach early adopters and developers and inspire them with Google’s investments in AI.

The central AI marketing team is the hub for AI launches, bringing technology to developers and early adopters. As the Social Media Manager for Google AI on this team you will drive the channel/content strategy that bolsters Google’s technical leadership and drives social conversation.

You will own the Google AI X channel, driving content and operations, including developing and executing an always-on editorial calendar, so being able to translate technologies into compelling, simple narratives is a must. Success in this role requires a deep passion for AI, both understanding the everyday helpfulness and the under the hood technology that makes these features possible, and a love, understanding of how this conversation is happening on social. You should be resourceful and adept at working cross functionally to get things done and should be comfortable working with technical product partners as you will also partner with xGoogle AI social channel owners across key moments to drive a one Google presence.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
