Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in Antenna, RF or Electromagnetics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience designing Antenna system solutions for Consumer Electronics, especially wearable devices or mobile phones.
- Experience using different wireless communication systems such as GSM/UMTS/CDMA/LTE/FR1/FR2, 802.11, Bluetooth, GPS.
- Experience with Electromagnetic Simulation tools (CST, HFSS, XFDTD, etc.) or circuit simulation capability using ADS.
- Experience with factory processes, manufacturing, board design, board bring-up and desense mitigation.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Antenna, RF or Electromagnetics.
- Experience using common RF test equipment (e.g. spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, protocol, signaling testers) and antenna chambers.
- Experiences of driving new technologies in the domain of RF, electromagnetics and wireless communication.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FCC, IC, CE, etc.) and their respective certification process, cellular industry standards and specs (e.g. CTIA, PTCRB, Wi-Fi alliance etc.) and schematic creation and PCB design tools.
- Knowledge of antennas used in wireless consumer products.

As an Antenna Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of new consumer electronics for the mobile space. You will work as part of this team to deliver innovative antenna solutions that push the limits on what’s possible for radiation performance, while achieving the goals of our industrial design, all while delivering at low cost. Your objective will be to design, test, optimize and implement compact and efficient antenna solutions for 5G cellular, WLAN, Bluetooth, IEEE 802.15.4 and new application areas.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Engage in cross-functional team collaboration, defining overall product architecture to achieve the best possible balance of design goals (cost, performance, etc.) for each product.
- Co-develop antenna architecture with RF, mechanical, industrial design, and PCB layout engineers.
- Design antennas for compact consumer electronics with high performance and manufacturability.
- Create and drive OTA factory test plans/stations for mass production. Produce and clearly communicate all OTA performance and progress information to relevant audiences, from engineers and PMs to executives.
- Test antenna and wireless over-the-air (OTA) performance.
