Image Quality Photographer and Analyst

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with image processing, computer vision, or camera photography.
  • Experience collecting images/videos of several lighting conditions, subjects, and environments.
  • Experience with photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Davinci Resolve, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in computational photography.
  • Experience in scripting, or programming.
  • Knowledge of Python, and diffractive optics or photonics.

About the job

As an Image Quality Photographer and Analyst, you will capture photos and videos using multiple mobile devices during the development phase and provide feedback on comparisons with other flagship devices in the industry while providing consistent and qualitative feedback to the engineering teams on the preferred tuning directions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $113,000-$161,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Capture real-life images and videos with different devices for image data collection, image quality testing, and evaluation.
  • Generate image and video quality reports based on the collected images/videos and provide feedback to the Engineering teams.
  • Collect the debug data, raw images, log, or video to help debug and improve the feature repeatedly.
  • Collect images and videos of several/repeat lighting conditions and environments.
  • Work with different teams and translate Engineering team needs into photo/video capture.
