Product Manager, Google Growth

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Google Growth builds owned and operated multi-channel marketing campaigns that support the Google ecosystem by driving cross-product engagement across Android and iOS. We partner with over 40 product and engineering teams around the world, generating hundreds of millions of app installs and activations every year impacting Google's key goals.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product strategy and roadmap for key growth initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance Google's growth and drive cross-app integration and user engagement.
  • Translate user needs, market insights, and goals into clear, actionable product requirements and specifications.
  • Define key product metrics, design and analyze experiments (A/B tests), and leverage data science insights to measure product performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive optimization for growth and user experience.
  • Serve as the product lead, driving alignment and clear communication across various cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery and adoption.
  • Communicate product goals, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels, leveraging strong presentation and collaboration skills to gain alignment and drive decisions for the product.
