Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of experience in application development, operations, networking, storage and security, with experience leading product teams in these areas
- 15 years of experience building cloud products and internal-facing cloud platforms at enterprise scale
- 5 years of experience managing managers in the product management domain
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong understanding of open interfaces and best practices in hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Excellent customer engagement and understanding of needs and opportunities for cloud
- Familiarity with building AI products and associated platform infrastructure
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver content across technical and business domains
- Proven success driving complex initiatives with cross-product and cross-functional dependencies
- Proven track record of delivering successfully within timelines
About the job
We are looking for a Director, Product Management to be part of the Foundation and Security Platforms organization, specifically delivering the strategy and roadmap for the Application Platform domain. In this role, you will deliver an integrated platform and AI-first cloud experience across the many different Google Cloud environments including App Design, Apphub, CAIS and OneGraph.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $272,000-$383,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Oversee the strategy and execution of a shared service platform that enhances Google Cloud AI products by ensuring compliance, optimizing resource allocation, and enabling critical AI capabilities.
- Deliver a comprehensive internal platform that streamlines the creation, deployment, and management of Google services, ISV partner services, and customer services across environments, including cloud, on-premises, and edge.
- Collaborate and align with stakeholders across security, identity, compute, networking, storage, API management, and more – rationalizing investments and creating a coherent platform view.
- Define clear success metrics with business-outcome focus across customer-facing products and internal-facing platforms that enable other product teams.
- Serve as a visible leader both externally and internally, converting the product vision and value proposition of product investments in your teams. Recruit, manage and develop a high functioning, collaborative team of product managers.
