Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in SWIFT programming language, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with iOS application development.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of software development experience in an object-oriented programming.
- 2 years of experience in API design, performance optimization, client architecture or tools in the mobile space.
- Knowledge of the iOS user interface and navigation concepts.
- Knowledge of the iOS Software Development Kit performance profiling tools and optimization techniques.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, deploy, maintain and improve software, working towards meeting the specific project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Practice, uphold and promote high quality and reliability standards, respect clean code principles, implement unit and integration tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, implement and ship new features and products.
- Collaborate with user experience specialists to design and build beautiful, accessible, and internationalized interfaces.
- Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
