Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience leading teams through the full software development life cycle (SDLC) from inception to deployment.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience with either applied artificial intelligence or information retrieval and raking improvements from a large-scale consumer facing product perspective.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As an AI TPGM, you will be an end-to-end owner driving planning and execution. Your cross-functional partners will look to you for strategic thought partnership with a holistic and unbiased point of view. You’ll work on the highest priority programs based on business needs including next generation experiences, evolving industry differentiating quality and trust systems, cutting edge AI/ML modeling, or AI raters at scale.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define, scope, and manage the AI projects and ensure timely delivery and adherence to scope. Build detailed project plans, track progress , manage risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with other teams which work on AI projects, ensuring synergy through coordinated timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Identify and resolve blockers and escalate issues when necessary.
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders regularly. Facilitate meetings and reviews to drive decision-making and alignment.
- Introduce best practices for reprehensibility, data/model versioning, experimentation tracking, and agile methodology in a dynamic environment.
