- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with server development, data pipeline technologies, and large-scale data processing.
- Knowledge of advertising systems, ad serving, or monetization platforms.

The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve scalable back-end software solutions.
- Contribute to high-priority initiatives, including the NavConnect project and the Waze Ads platform.
- Work with data and optimize back-end systems and data pipelines for areas like ad serving and reporting.
- Manage technical challenges stemming from Waze's infrastructure, which operates within Google Cloud Platform (GCP), requiring problem-solving and innovative thinking.
- Participate in code reviews, and contribute to improving code quality, performance, and maintainability.
