Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience in selling or supporting business intelligence tools, and using them for datasets and databases (e.g. Looker).
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Ability to communicate in Hebrew and English fluently to support client relationship management in this Israel and in English speaking countries.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a technical field.
- Experience developing data warehousing, data lakes, batch or real-time event processing, and ETL workflow solutions.
- Experience analyzing data with SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience with advanced data modeling and analytics.
About the job
As a key member of Looker's Enterprise Sales Engineering team, you will be the technical advocate for prospects and customers. You will work closely to understand their needs and demonstrate how Looker can add value to their data workflows. You will partner with your business counterparts to acquire new customers, expand relationships and cultivate business growth.
Along the way, you will have the opportunity to expand your breadth and depth of knowledge in data discovery and analysis. You will help shape product roadmap based on the needs and requirements of the customers you work with.
Looker is a unified platform that powers data experiences and delivers actionable business insights to employees at the point of decision. Looker integrates data into the daily workflows of users to allow organizations to extract value from data at web-scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop customized presentations, demonstrations and prototypes of the software to articulate use cases and value to the customer.
- Participate in selling the value of Looker’s products using multiple channels, including phone, presentation, and live online and in-person product demonstrations.
- Manage customer trials, ensuring that they are engaging with the product, the trial and the resulting solution.
- Articulate and educate on technical and architectural concepts to a variety of audiences, including developers, architects, and IT professionals.
- Respond to functional and technical elements of
Request for Proposals (RFP) as necessary, leverage and build upon existing knowledge base.
