Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of relevant experience in Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, Management Consulting, Finance or Program Management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA, Master’s or a relevant advanced degree.
  • Experience with B2B technology sales and building and implementing corporate, growth, or sales strategy in a high-growth tech environment, with an understanding of integrated go-to-market in enterprise software.
  • Ability to synthesize complex insights, simplify messages, and drive executive-level action, including strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communicator with executive presence and skilled at influencing and building strong relationships.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptability, with a proven success in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative and influential in a matrix environment with a motivation to focus on results.

About the job

As the North America Sales Strategy Lead for Google Cloud you will drive the business forward by developing strategy, insight, and structure to accelerate growth and scale the business. You will lead initiatives and conduct analysis, develop recommendations, and craft execution plans to deliver value, while working holistically and collaboratively across North America, worldwide Google Cloud, and the broader Google ecosystem to align on decisions, drive implementation, and measure results.

As part of Google Cloud Sales Strategy and Operations, you'll partner closely with sales leadership to design strategies and build recommendations based on a data-driven approach. You’ll work with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders to build alignment and generate results. You’ll acquire a deep understanding of our business and will enable the regional teams with best practices, insights, and processes to execute consistently at scale. You’ll play a key role in shaping the direction of an exciting, high-growth business and will see the direct impact of your work across the organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with North America GTM (Go-to-Market) leadership to define and activate growth-driving GTM strategies. Anticipate strategic needs of the business and support ongoing leadership priorities.
  • Lead end-to-end strategy execution: insights, recommendations, cross-functional alignment, and activation. Analyze data to create actionable recommendations and executive-level presentations.
  • Collaborate with regional, global cross-functional teams (Sales, S&O, Finance, People Operations, Customer Experience) to meet shared goals.
  • Align perspectives across functions and ensure effective landing and activation of strategy.
  • Partner closely with the North America Planning team to drive GTM strategy to execution.
