About the job
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex utility infrastructure projects across our EMEA and APAC portfolio. You will work closely with a worldwide network of stakeholders to ensure that all key players are coordinated on roles, responsibilities, and deadlines. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing project plans, tracking progress, and communicating status updates to stakeholders. In coordination with commercial, engineering, and operations teams, you will lead strategic power utility infrastructure programs that build and maintain a robust pipeline of capacity for our data center fleet.

- Support Google Data Centers (GDC) campus development in collaboration with EMEA and APAC Regional Delivery teams as the technical lead during commercial discussions of data center power utility supply.
- Serve as power utility infrastructure lead for development during the due-diligence and design stages of project development.
- Lead value engineering, feasibility studies and risk evaluations of power utility infrastructure projects that enable GDC capacity.
- Refine and update due-diligence scope standards and serve as the subject-matter expert during execution of detailed due-diligence studies.
- Lead technical direction and strategy of utility projects during design and oversee commercial and technical direction of advanced utility projects during construction. Manage a team of AEs who support the program and manage vendor scope and work product.
